Dear Friends,
On behalf of the London to Dubai 2011 team, may I firstly thank you for your continuing interest & support in our project. Regretfully, the current political situation in the Middle East makes it impossible for us to carry out the ride as per the originally publicized date of September 2011. We were hoping for the situation to improve & had also looked at alternative routes, but on balance it was decided that the safest option would be to postpone our challenge until next year. We have reached this decision after much careful deliberation & of paramount concern is the safety & security of the riders & their equipment. We do however remain firmly committed to the cause which is to raise funds through our challenge for the UNICEF Pakistan Flood Children’s Appeal, and we continue to ask you for your moral & financial support in helping us achieve our target.
